There are many e card options or make your own cards from scraps saved at home.

Reuse

Old cards can be cut up and made into gift tags and Christmas cards can also be used to make an Advent calendar. Other uses include book markers, shopping lists, messages to family.

Recycle 

Some shops operate recycling schemes at Christmas time.  Look out for the special collection boxes.  In previous years Tesco and WH Smith have had collection boxes in support of the Woodland Trust; Marks and Spencer in Swindon too. Otherwise, place in blue-lidded bin for kerbside recycling or in cardboard bank at Marlborough Household Recycling Centre.
