Reuse

Look in your local library for craft books giving instructions on how to make rag rugs - Wiltshire Libraries have several, available to request from other branches. Look out for local workshops that teach crafts such as rag rug making.

Use as dusters or paint rags.

Recycle

Tie inside a plastic bag and mark ‘rag’ before placing in kerbside black recycling boxes or taking to the Household Recycling Centre.  Rag is used to make carpet underlay among other things.
