Wool

Reuse

The following charity shops will accept unused wool if it is clean and in good condition: Prospect Hospice, Helen and Douglas House, RSPCA and The Blue Cross, all in Marlborough High Street.

Pure woollen jumpers that are in poor condition can be unpicked and the wool reused.  Alternatively, boil and shrink to use as next year’s hanging basket liners.

Recycle

Any wool clothing/textiles that are in poor condition can be tied in a plastic bag marked "rags" and placed in the kerbside collection black box or the textile bank at Marlborough Household recycling Centre.
