Using the A-Z Directory

Under item headings, you will find ideas and tips for reducing and reusing waste. There are lists of shops, charities, organisations and individuals that will take the items in question for reuse or recycling.

Some organisations appear several times throughout the directory.  Further details are given on the Recycling Contact Information page. Please refer to this information before donating items and bear in mind that charities have to pay to dispose of items that are unsuitable.  Items should always be in good condition if being donated for reuse, unless otherwise stated in the directory.

The database is constantly being updated. If you cannot find what you are looking for in the A-Z, please look again at a later date or contact us on recycling@transitionmarlborough.org  You can also use the search facility at the top of the web page: sometimes an item is included in a section, but does not appear in the title (e.g. crockery is on the Kitchen page, toothbrushes on Bathroom page). To bring the relevant item to the top of the search list, type in "recycle" then the item for which you are searching (e.g.  recycle crockery).
